Tsuina (Oni) Mask daruma Konron dscrbed as a demonicTraditional Japanese Tsuina (Oni) Mask Description The Tsuina () mask represents the devil demon, or Oni of the supernatural. These masks date back to the Heian period, used in an annual event in the Imperial Palace on New Year's Eve (December 30 (old calendar)).
