It has been phased to run accurately and reliably with a standard 1. 55 volt modern battery and keeps excellent time. It has just been FULLY SERVICED. It was designed to aid a doctor with instructions in Latin to measure a patient's pulse rate. The doctor would begin taking pulse rate with the seconds hand at either the 12 or 6 marker and count twenty heart beats.
